Picture yourself standing in front of a huge all-you-can eat buffet. There’s everything from steak to ice cream sundaes. You have the ability to access unlimited food and unlimited plates to carry the food back to your table. But, you know that if you choose everything offered to you, some of the choices will make you feel sick later. So, you try to pick healthy choices as much as you can. Here’sthe analogy: Just like the food at the buffet, countless thoughts are made available to us every second of our day. We have choices here too. If we blindly allow unhealthy thoughts into our energy, we are doing as much damage as piling our plates with all the junk food put in front of us. How many of us complain how sick we feel? No wonder! We are bitter, resentful, jealous, competitive, unkind and basically miserable, and that is because we are doing it to ourselves through passive thinking. Please be more choosy. Have the will-power to say “no” to the junk that wants to make you miserable. Healthy bodies and healthy minds are a unit. One cannot survive without the other. #susankorwin
