Susan’s Sound Advice #1027

Yesterday I came up with an interesting analogy while visiting Bucks County, Pa. We lived in the area for a while many years ago, and I thought about a bunch of people that were so much a part of our lives back in the early 80’s when we were there. We socialized and shared many experiences together, and visiting the area prompted me to think about where they are now and how they are doing. Duringour lifetime, so many people enter and exit. Much like a passport, we “stamp” our life with people and places who made an impact for a time, and then became memories, We may never see them again, because life just works like that…different stages in life evolve to other stages in life, and sometimes we just lose contact for whatever reason. My “passport” is filled to the brim with “stamps” from people who meant so much to me at one time or another. Just as when we travel, we are transformed by what we experience in other countries. When we share experiences with different people, we are also transformed by our interactions with them, whether or not we ever visit or see them again. Life just works like that……#susankorwin
