The most common topic that comes up in Life Coaching is someone who has a run-in or a relationship with a person who clearly defines the word “narcissist”. The client doesn’t realize this because they are too caught up in their own guilt and confusion, basically hypnotized by the ability of the narcissist to convince them they are the crazy one, What I always tell people is that even the best of us have been fooled because recognizing this type of person is not clear-cut. If you think of a narcissist in the literal sense, you would think of a person who has to be the center of attention and one who finds every mirror available to admire their reflection. No. This is, sadly, not the case. A narcissist can blend in very easily, acting like they are innocent and loving, yet they know exactly how to reel you in with their false promises and empty words of praise and love. They are pros at what they do, so don’t ever blame yourself for falling into the trap of this type of person. Once you realize that they are not who you thought they were, delete them from your life, no matter how much you fight the urge to do so. It’s important to know that if your gut is saying this feels wrong, it probably is. #susankorwin
