FEAR: Living under the weight of the “what ifs” is a hard place to dwell. I am just like you. When I took this photo, I was trembling with fear. Would I fall off the horse? Would the horse reject me and run for his life? Never happened. Reality tells us that so much of what we spend our time worrying about never even happens. I struggled with fear and worry for most of my life. But, through much hard work every single day of my life, I realized that the things that once sent me down an anxious spiral no longer were able to hold power over me. I didn’t happen overnight. It took years, and I still have to work at it. What we narrate to ourselves over and over becomes so familiar, that we become hypnotized. If we constantly tell ourselves how afraid we are and how worried we are, we will believe it. It’s not magic…. it’s just reality: Change how you think. Replace the unhappy ending with a happy ending. It’s not just for fairy tales. Sometimes things really DO work out! #susankorwin
