About two weeks ago, I posted a photo of a dress that I was giving away. The first person who replied got the dress. One of my dear friends, Randee Heller, commented on how she loved it and was sorry she didn’t get it. With that, I found a similar dress that I don’t wear much anymore and sent it to her. After receiving the dress, she sent me two beautiful dresses that she doesn’t wear anymore! A chain reaction of sorts…a chain reaction of generosity! Yes, generosity is indeed contagious. The greatest way to change the world is to inspire others with positive acts of kindness. When we are generous, it creates a transferable experience that leaves both the giver and the recipient different than they were before something was given. Yes, we can stand on the sidelines and watch other people giving generously and be inspired by their actions. But when we ourselves choose to give freely to others, not only is something tangible exchanged, there is also an intangible gift that is passed from recipient to giver, a gift so powerful that it becomes contagious, inspiring the desire to give in both the one giving and the one receiving. . No one has ever become poor by giving to others. As a matter of fact, we actually become richer every time we show generosity. I can’t wait to take photos wearing the two dresses I received. They are so pretty! Thank you Randee Heller for the chain reaction of kindness! #susankorwin
