All flags today are flying at half mast due to the tragic and senseless killings in Orlando. It is also Flag Day, a day where we honor our American symbol, a symbol that represents freedom for all! This may not be a holiday where we get the day off, but it is indeed an important one. When I was a kid, we used to pledge allegiance to the flag in school before we started the day. We would put our hand on our hearts, and the words at the end…”with liberty and justice for all”…really didn’t mean much to us young kids. Today, it means a lot! So when you see the flag today, pause for a moment, put your hand over your heart and say a prayer for one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. #susankorwin
