In life, there are times when someone we care for, be it a family member, a lover, or even just a great friend, doesn’t care back. As this happens, we tend to do anything we can to win them back, but it’s like hitting your head against a brick wall. Unfortunately, we have to face the fact that sometimes, no matter how hard we try, it’s just not meant to be. If you are stuck in a one-sided relationship, my advice is to stop trying so hard to win them over. Respect yourself, love yourself, and if necessary, move on. Staying stuck in a one-sided relationship creates unnecessary stress on you as you try whatever you can to convince them to appreciate you. Forget about impressing them, impress yourself. Stay strong and self-sufficient and those lucky enough to deserve you will appear.
