24 Aug Susan’s Sound Advice #11
I have to admit it. I awoke today, for no apparent reason, in a bad mood. I just felt like throwing the covers back over my head and staying in bed. But, if I really wanted to keep feeling “down” and staying down, that would be the answer. Except, I didn’t want that. So, I decided to change my thoughts and take action. I thought about how great it would be to sit outside by my pool and have breakfast, which is something I rarely do. I thought about all the great people I have in my life. Again, gratitude for something will change a mood for the better.
Bad moods can be changed by reprogramming our thoughts instead of staying in a funk.
