22 Jul Susan’s Sound Advice #1102
I admit that I am very choosy when it comes to the people I allow into my inner circle. There are many categories of friendships, but the ones I treasure the most are the friends who are supportive and caring, the ones whose words are followed up by their actions. Whenever I happen to think that the world has become a little more self-centered, that is when I think about the people in my close circle who are kind, have integrity and don’t look around the room while you are talking to them. We are all here together to not only better ourselves but to leave another person feeling better because of our presence. It’s our JOB to touch those around us with friendship and support. We have enormous power to help friends bounce back from low times and sustain them during their good times. On that note, I want to thank my good friend Lissette Cordova-Butkus for her generous friendship and support. She is a rare, beautiful woman with a heart of gold. I am happy to have her in my “inner circle”…#susankorwin
