17 Nov Susan’s Sound Advice #1141
Our repetitive negative thoughts form paths in our brain, similar to paths we walk down over and over in a park. Eventually, the path gets deeper and more defined, and it just becomes easier to stay on that same path instead of breaking in a new one. It’s really not that hard to start anew. Replacing sorrowful thoughts with thoughts of gratitude, even for just one thing in your life, begins to form new pathways. Remember, you cannot feel sad and grateful at the same time. It’s impossible. Break away from unsatisfying relationships, start a new career or hobby, and believe in yourself! Today, start walking that new path. Maybe you can even dance…. I know I will. #susankorwin #ladyinred
