Those who you consider your “inner circle”, those closest to you, are the people who should celebrate who you are and are happy to see you succeed. The others are merely “extras” in your life’s screenplay. They are the ones who, when you need their support, very conveniently disappear. Don’t waste your energy feeling anger or frustration. Just realize that it’s the quality of friends that is important and not the quantity.
