The road to success is paved with many parked cars. In every journey, there will be obstacles to overcome. There will be discomfort, frustration and other reasons to give up. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? The rabbit got off to a quick start, but it failed to persevere. It found a “parking space” and stayed too long. The tortoise persevered and ended up winning, while the hare slept. That is the danger of failing to persevere and failing to get back on the road. You will end up wasting large portions of your life waiting for the perfectly paved road. There is no such thing. So get back in your car and navigate through all the curves and potholes, and if you reach a dead end…just make a U-turn.
