16 Mar Susan’s Sound Advice #153
We all are a mixture of positive and negative attributes. Not one of us is perfect or else we wouldn’t be human. However, most of us tend to forget what’s great about ourselves and instead focus on what we don’t like about ourselves. Here’s a great idea: Ask a few people you know (friends, relatives, colleagues) to write you a “letter of recommendation”. You will then notice what others see aboutyou that maybe you have overlooked or forgotten. From this letter, you will be able to observe key elements of yourself: your personality, your work ethic, or sense of humor, etc. This is a great way to build your self confidence and will help you in your self awareness. Sometimes, all it takes is hearing from others how wonderful you truly are!
