A lot of us are burdened with unresolved issues from our past that we just don’t want to deal with or deny that they exist. Yet they follow us where ever we go. This is referred to as “emotional baggage”. When that happens day after day, and year after year, these feelings pile up and we become overwhelmed. We may experience headaches, depression, high blood pressure and stomach ailments. By avoiding these issues and trying to “be strong”, we are, in fact, not living a life of happiness. By delving into your feelings and really acknowledging what it is that is burdening you, you are setting yourself free from the emotional jail you placed yourself in. It is not a sign of weakness. We all have “baggage”. Allow yourself to open up the bags and really look at what it is that you have been carrying around for so long. Then, toss all those things away. It’s time for a new start.
