Susan’s Sound Advice #224

There are some people who need an entourage of “friends” around them on a constant basis. They believe that by projecting an image of popularity, others will respect them more. What’s so sad is that, in reality, these people are so busy with the image and never cultivate a real and lasting friendship. In the end, it’s important to realize that it’s quality, not quantity, that we should consider when choosing who we befriend. I have learned that real friends are priceless. They uplift, accept and correct when necessary. They understand and accept our shortcomings and forgive when we disappoint. Above all, they love us and show it!©susankorwin
