Susan’s Sound Advice #234

How many of us, for fear of not being perfect, just “sit out” when it comes to pursuing our hopes and dreams? Woody Allen once said, “80% of success is just showing up”. Do you think that someone with a great body just sits back and hopes to have the perfect body? No, they “show up” to the gym every day and try their best to achieve it. I never became a concert pianist, but yet I still sit down every day and play the piano because I enjoy it. No one, and I mean no one, is perfect. If everyone sat back and didn’t pursue success for fear of not being perfect, there would be no museums, no theater and no books to read! What makes a winner is someone who repetitively sticks with the game. In addition, when I pick the people I want in my life, I do not look for perfection…I look for the ones who “show up”!!©susankorwin
