30 Sep Susan’s Sound Advice #32
When we fill our bodies with a diet of junk food, we can’t function effectively. The same can be said about feeding our minds with “junk”. If all we do is watch depressing shows on television or listen to pessimistic people around us, we become distracted and end up developing a negative view of everything around us. It’s important to be aware of current events, but watching the news 24/7 is more than likely to depress you. Why not read an inspirational book or biography of someone you want to emulate? The more you fill your life with “healthy choices”, both through your mouth and through your mind, the better you will feel overall. I promise!
