You know the expression, “green with envy”? Jealously is a damaging emotion. It makes us feel like someone else has won and we have lost if we perceive that they have something we do not. It’s all about changing our mindset. I, for one, love to be around people who I look up to and are gifted and talented. From my standpoint, another person’s success and happiness inspires me. . which is a good thing! I have friends that are so incredibly talented at things that I could never imagine achieving, and I am proud to be in their presence. When people around us are doing well and are fulfilled, they will naturally spread those feelings to others. This is a situation to be desired, not avoided. Celebrate others’ assets. It doesn’t mean you are lacking. Learn and grow, and you will never see that “green eyed monster again! Susan Korwin Life and Style Coach
