There was something I had to deal with a few weeks ago that I was dreading. In life, there will be many times that we will have to “face our fears”. Yes, we can hide in our room and never have to worry about catching the flu or getting hurt in a relationship, but we would also never evolve into the person we were meant to be. Fear is like an imagined monster hiding under our bed. . once we acknowledge it, it loses its power.
All of us must face rejection, failure, pain, humiliation, the ire of others, and many other unpleasant aspects of life. Dealing with these adversities is what helps us develop our character and define who we are. If we listen and begin to understand our fears, we will realize just how strong our character really is!
