07 Oct Susan’s Sound Advice #41
Lately, I have attended quite a few events packed with models, both male and female. When in the company of such externally beautiful people, it’s easy to see ourselves as plain and invisible. Here’s the lesson: You have to feel good about YOU. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks
or says. You don’t have to be the coolest person or the best looking person in a group. The worst thing we can dois compare ourselves to others and
let others get the best of us. Eleanor Roosevelt was right when
she said “Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. “We should not let
others determine how we feel about ourselves, nor should we give in to
that inner critic. Learn to recognize yourself for the unique and beautiful person that you are. List your talents, special qualities and attributes. A person who builds their self-esteem from the inside out will feel good about themselves no matter what their external circumstances are.
