Susan’s Sound Advice #429

There’s an old Chinese belief that an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. There are several different versions of this in both Japanese and Chinese legends. One myth says that it is the gods who tie a red cord around the ankles of those people that are meant to meet eachother in a specific situation or to help each other out for one reason or another. I have have had clients who, because of a sad ending to a relationship, say that they wish they never met that person. I tell them that they should NEVER regret anything because everyone we encounter, whether positive or negative, is put into our life to teach us a lesson. The lesson may not be realized until much later, but it will appear. Embrace and enjoy every single encounter that you have with every person that you meet, and know that they all have a very special message for you, if you are present enough to receive it. Be in the moment, with everyone. #destiny #redthread #dontregretathing
