Lately I have thinking of all the wonderful people I have met in my life and how thankful I am to know them. But, unfortunately, along with all the great friends, there have been enemies too. We all have them. Whether it’s the person who bullied us in third grade, or the competitor seeking revenge, the jilted lover, or the person who just doesn’t like us…there is not one person who can say theydon’t have an enemy. When I think of these people, I find myself grateful because my “enemies” have taught me a lot about myself. Of course, dealing with these people at the time was not a pleasant experience, but, in the end, I am a better person, a stronger person, and I know what I want and what I don’t want. As a result of these experiences, I even recognized some flaws in my own character and have improved myself since. So, instead of reacting with hatred toward my enemies, I am choosing to react with appreciation. Maybe they will even be transformed in the process and follow my example. So…. let us love our enemies as well as our friends and by doing so maybe change the world…one person at a time. #thankyouenemy #thankyoufriends #forgive #liveandlearn
