Susan’s Sound Advice #461

I think I can safely guess that most of us has had to deal with someone who is a pathological liar…someone who lies consistently without even blinking an eye. They lie about their achievements, their future plans, their jobs, their relationships, etc. These people have such a low sense of worth that they need to create a world that is better than their ugly reality They don’t value the truth, especially if they don’t see it as hurting anyone. If you call them on a lie and they are backed into a corner, they will act very defensively, usually denying their dishonesty and saying you are making a big deal out of nothing. Because these same people don’t value honesty, they usually don’t value loyalty either. They will try to tarnish your name and make you look bad because they cannot deal with their own truth. So,
if you know a person like this, make sure you dot the i’s and cross the t’s before you believe anything they say. A storyteller makes up things to help other people; a liar makes up things to help himself. #don ‘tbelievealiar #duediligence #truthrules
