Confucius said, “No matter where you go, there you are”. How true. I just came back from an amazing mini vacation and, as I was lounging around the pool, I noticed so many people relaxing, smiling, laughing with their friends and family, and generally having fun. That is what vacation is all about. However, there are some people who “run away” as a means of escaping their problems, and…lo and behold, no matter where they are, they are still miserable. You truly cannot be happy anywhere on this planet if you are not happy with yourself. You cannot outrun your problems. Live your life in the moment and seek enjoyment and relaxation on a day to day basis. Don’t save it up for that one week in the sun every winter. It sounds trite, but its true. If you look deep inside yourself and identify what is holding you back from true happiness, you will feel like it’s a holiday…every day! #youcanrunbutyoucannothide #everydayisavacation #loveyourself #itsalwayssunnyinyourmind
