Susan’s Sound Advice #518

Some major life lessons I’ve learned: Most times, the darkest experiences bring us to the brightest places; People we least expect can teach us the most important lessons; The most heartbreaking losses of friendship and love can make room for those who are meant to be in our life; The saddest thing about BETRAYAL is that it never comes from your enemies; Accept that you are enough. You don’t needto be anything that you are not; It’s better to be yourself and have few friends than to parrot your friends and have no self; What seems like a curse at the moment can actually be a blessing, and what seems like the end of the road actually has a fork leading to a new path on which we are meant to travel. No matter how difficult things seem, there is always hope; No matter how powerless we feel or how horrible things seem, we can’t give up. We must keep going. Even when it’s scary, even when all of our strength seems gone, we have to keep picking ourselves back up and move forward because whatever we’re battling at the moment will pass, and we will make it through. We’ve made it this far so we certainly can make it through whatever comes next.
