12 May Susan’s Sound Advice #539
I was saddened to wake this morning to news that a client of mine passed away in his early 50’s. What makes me smile though is the fact that he certainly lived it up during this short time, and he was so eager to better himself by taking the steps toward positive change every single day for the last year or so since I met him. In life, we borrow many material things that we are very willing to return when we are finished with them. But, the one thing we don’t want to return is our “borrowed time” on this planet. We are given this time to do what we want with it, but we often don’t use it wisely. We stay angry, we hurt others, and we don’t appreciate the gift that a loan without interest really means. So, the moral of this story is to live life as if everyday is your last because this really is borrowed time. Take the necessary steps to undo the bad habits and negative behavior. Treat others well, and certainly take care of yourself by eating right and exercising. Ask yourself each and every day, “what am I doing with my borrowed time”? #lifeisshort #borrowedtime #smelltheroses #dontsweatthesmallstuff
