I read a book written by the late Patrick Swayze’s wife Lisa, and there was a passage in one chapter that really resonated with me. They both had pilots licenses and were flying one day when they realized that a bad storm was approaching. They started arguing about whether they should fly above the storm or below the storm. When they finally called their flight instructor for guidance, he told them they were both wrong! He said to fly through the storm, to trust your instruments and stay on your altitude. When a monster cloud closed in in front of them, they looked at each other, smiled, took a breath…and entered the cloud. Relying on their instruments and training, they threaded their way through, never even hitting a bump! They exited the bad weather, made their way to approach, and landed at their destination.
My friends, it’s the same with life. You don’t dodge the clouds that come into your life…you go through them with the trust that your “instruments” will guide you safely to your destination. Let it be…. . #trust #faith #itsjustapassingstorm #clarity #thingswillbefine
