I just received an email from a casting director working with Bravo, Lifetime and the History Channel. Their current show is “Pawn Stars”. She said she is interested in casting me for a show about people who live a fab life of luxury for a major network. It would take a peek into the lives and homes of the most fabulous and wealthy individuals. She stated that it would open my closets and make my friendsjealous. It is very nice to receive such an offer, but, first of all, I am not one of the wealthiest individuals, nor do I live an opulent lifestyle, I really have no interest in making my friends jealous. I really don’t find this plot to be any different than many of the other shows now on reality television. I suggested, as I have many different times, to many other casting directors, to cast me as MYSELF, a Life Coach who motivates people to be their best and to act their best on a daily basis. I would be thrilled to be part of any show and appear as a neutralizer amid the opulence and drama. Maybe I am dumb for turning down so many offers, but I really think that the public at large is starving for some positive and inspirational messages to help them get through the daily grind, whether they are wealthy or not wealthy. It’s a universal topic. A woman can dream….
