Susan’s Sound Advice #593

When I slipped and fell in Newark Airport last month, there was a man (turns out he is a criminal lawyer), who did everything he could to help me. I also sat next to a young woman who I am now friends with (Kimberly Sherwin), whose concern throughout the flight and help after, proved invaluable to me. When we are very young, most of our childhood heroes wore capes, flew through the air, and performed other feats of strength. But, here’s what I consider a hero: Anyone who takes the time to help another human being in need, whether to lend an ear, lend a dollar, or simply take someone’s arm and help them up after they have fallen. We live in the same world, and we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem. ” Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes. #dailyinspiration #susankorwin #lifecoach #author #simplestridestowardpositi vechange
