12 Jul Susan’s Sound Advice #604
Working with my wonderful life coaching clients has given me a lot of insight into the process of success. Regardless of our background, skills, or experience, we can’t be successful until we feel confident about who we are and what we are doing. We mistakenly think that if we’re successful, we will then be confident. It is just the opposite! Feeling confident first opens the door to success and achieving our goals. Others take their cue from you. If you seem hesitant and unsure, no one will feel comfortable putting trust in you. We all have strengths. Make a list, even the smallest things, of what you do well. Even if it’s making a great cup of coffee or being able to cross your eyes, notice how you feel about it. That feeling is confidence. Just like rabbits, the feeling of confidence multiplies fast when you start paying attention to your strengths instead of your weaknesses.
