I learned a long time ago that all I need are a few AUTHENTIC friends. We should all realize that when it comes to friendships, relationships, etc, it’s more important to focus on quality over quantity. Expend your time and energy with friends who like you, appreciate you, and who encourage you to improve in healthy and productive ways. They are the ones who make you feel glad to be around them, and who encourage you to do your best. There are too many people out there who need to impress and who make you feel pressured to impress. Life is not about impressing others. It’s about making your day a little brighter simply by being there with no requirements. In my world, I would rather have one true friend than all the acquaintances in the world!
