13 Aug Susan’s Sound Advice #637
I am so happy that my posts, my book and my coaching have helped many people in one way or another. That is the truth. The other truth is that my life is not perfect by any means. You may wonder why I would write this, but I am writing it because I get comments all the time from people saying that they wish they could be as positive and “together” as I am. I will be the first to admit that my lifeis great in many ways. I have an adoring husband and three amazing sons. I am lucky in many other ways too, just like all of you. But, on the other hand, I, just like many of you, struggle with anxiety, occasional depression, negative thoughts, etc. I get irritable and stressed just like you. As we saw from the tragedy of Robin Williams, looking at someone’s life from the outside and envying them is extremely deceiving. We are all human, and there is no one on this planet who has it all. It’s all smoke and mirrors. So, let’s all learn to accept that life is a journey and that as we learn and grow, we will find bigger and deeper possibilities. There’s never going to be a time when we will say, “life is perfect now, my work is over” I accept my imperfections, and I accept that my life is a work in progress. And even though it takes a lot of hard work, negative thoughts can be reversed and bad habits can be broken. So, be kind to yourself, love yourself, accept yourself, and keep moving forward. And remember…. no one’s grass is greener than yours! #dailyinspiration #susankorwin #lifecoach #author #simplestridestowardpositi vechange
