Susan’s Sound Advice #643

Asking for help is not always easy. You may feel like a “loser” because you are admitting that you are vulnerable and can’t rely on yourself for all the answers. Nothing is further from the truth. Most successful people, i. e. Oprah, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Ted Turner…. sought help in order to grow and to live their best lives. This does not make them weak, it makes them strong. So, if you ever feel overloaded, unhappy, or just plain “stuck”, the strong thing to do is ask for help. Turn to family, good friends, a spiritual advisor, therapist, life coach, co-workers…. anyone. But, make sure you ask. Don’t pressure yourself into believing that you have to navigate through life’s puzzles alone. There is always a way…. . but first you have to stop believing that it is a sign of weakness. Asking for help is the bravest move you can make. Remind yourself that it is ok not to be perfect. #dailyinspiration #susankorwin #lifecoach #author #simplestridestowardpositi vechange
