I have to write today about a subject that has been bothering me, and that is people who copy and paste words of others as if they were written by them. The most obvious is when a person who does not speak the English language. and who can’t put two words together in conversation, posts inspirational messages that sound like Shakespeare could have written it. That should be a clue. Second, I have noticed my own words posted with no proper credit given to me or my book. I understand that getting attention and “likes” is very important to some, but it is not cool to copy someone else’s words and use them as your own. That is called plagiarism and it shows that you lack originality and ethics.
