Susan’s Sound Advice #722

If I met you at an event, would you be someone I would remember? When a party has a lot of attendees, it is not always easy remembering individuals because lots of times people get mixed together in a blur and names become much harder to remember. The next day, you may just be one person among the many I spoke to the night before. Once in a while, I will start a conversation with someone whose personality and charisma commands my attention. I will want to learn more about them, and will want to perhaps see them again. Life is a lot like a party in that respect. We come into contact with so many people during a day and making a good and lasting impression can be difficult. Being a standout and remarkable is one of the most useful skills in life. You need to stand out from others in many areas of life, including job interviews, meeting a significant other, or just plain networking. The difference between succeeding and failing could very well be how well you made another person pay attention to you and your uniqueness. Don’t blend in…. stand out and get noticed!
With Ray Romano…very memorable!
