I remember back in 1969, my brother took me to see Joe Cocker in concert. I was young, and I was feeling so privileged that my brother would actually take me, his little sister with him to see this amazing rock star. Well, the evening turned out even better! He sang “You Are So Beautiful” and came into the audience and sang directly to ME! He asked me my name, told me he loved my freckles, and I was in heaven! Rest in Peace Joe Cocker. You made one young girl feel a little better about herself that summer of ’69!
