All it takes is one song to bring back 1000 memories. Music is the soundtrack of our lives. We can remember where we were, who we were with, and how we felt just by hearing a song from our past. Whenever I hear “She’s A Woman” by the Beatles, it brings me back to my first boyfriend and my first kiss. When I hear a song by Leslie Gore, it brings memories of childhood birthday parties where her music played. Songwriters and artists in each and every generation play an enormously important role in our lives. We can grow older, our lives can change, our circumstances can change…but all it takes is one song to ignite a memory that can never, ever be erased. Rest in peace Leslie Gore, and to all the music makers past and present…thanks for the memories! #susankorwin
