Always remember that everyone has had experiences in their childhood that caused emotional bruising, leading to scars in adulthood. No one, and I mean NO ONE has had a perfect childhood. No parent can fill every single emotional need of their child, and society and our peers can’t always meet the needs of every single individual. Some of us had great parents, yet were bullied by our peers, while some of us had a tough family situation, yet were popular and well-liked by our peers. Just know that everyone is a product of their life experiences. We all have been emotionally bruised in one way or another. It’s normal, and that’s the imperfect nature of life. Many have learned to hide their “scars”, while others wear them like a badge of honor. Don’t live your life in a battle with your past. Make peace with it, forgive everyone, move forward, and don’t let your past ruin your future. #susankorwin
