Most of us have an inner “war” going on inside. It’s the conflict between how we see ourselves and how others see us. In order to build self esteem, you need to focus on your own self worth from deep within. Only you know who you truly are. There will always be people who want to bring you down and who may hurt you with their rude comments. Their opinions don’t count. Be strong and listen to yourpositive inner voice. The greatest and most ethical people have had their share of critics, but they didn’t allow those critics to halt their success. Confidence must come from only one source and that is within you! Notice when you allow outer circumstances or the opinions of others to chip away at your self confidence. Stop yourself and realize that no one has the power to validate you except you.
