Paraphrasing Rocky Balboa: Let me tell you something you already know. The world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It can be a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, nobody, is going to hit as hard as life does. But it isn’t about how hard you’re hit, it’s about how much you can take and still keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know how much you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you’ve got to be willing to take the hits and stop pointing fingers and saying you’re not where you want to be because of him, her or anybody. That’s what cowards do and that’s not you.
