Susan’s Sound Advice #898

Life is imperfect. Humans are imperfect. Everyone I know is imperfect. I am imperfect. Perfection is overrated It doesn’t exist. My own flaws are a constant reminder to accept the flaws of others and to look beyond them. I try to see every person’s gift because we all have one. Being aware of our own struggles and weaknesses makes us more able to accept the struggles and weaknesses of others. Yes. there are some “rotten apples” out there, but as a whole, I think most people are doing the best they can. 99% of people do not wake up in the morning and say, “I am going to be a horrible person today and do as much as I can to make everyone miserable”. Most people I meet on a daily basis are good and caring people. Look beyond the tiny flaws and imperfections of everyone you know and meet. Look for the good in everyone. As I said before, none of us is perfect, There is no need to be perfect to inspire others. We inspire others by the way we deal with our own imperfections. ©2015 SusanKorwin
