12 May Susan’s Sound Advice #909
Today was one of those days that I made lemonade out of lemons. My air conditioning in the house was being repaired, and instead of hanging around a hot environment, I left the men working, and decided to skip on over to the beach! I even brought my portable office with me (my phone) and talked to two clients while sitting in a beautiful cafe overlooking the water. As I was walking back to my car, I noticed a cool-looking shed on the beach that read “Ocean Rescue”. I thought to myself how that would be a great backdrop for a photo. I guess someone read my mind because just at that moment, a guy walked up to me and said he was a photographer and would I like him to take my photo. He took these three shots with my little camera, but also took with his professional camera. I know those will probably be much better, but, in the meantime, I am posting these. I write in my book that by inserting the word “but” into a negative situation, a positive will ALWAYS appear. In my case today…. . yes, the AC in my house blew, it’s going to cost a fortune to fix it, BUT hey…. . at least I had the opportunity to visit the beach for the first time this season, the salty air and breeze were invigorating…. and I made a new friend! Lemons out of lemonade!! #susankorwin
