Susan’s Sound Advice #936

Why do the wrong people sometimes enter our life? That’s a question I am sure many of us want to know. All of us, at some point in our lives, have met someone who turned out to be a major disappointment. Whether they used us for their own selfish purposes, gossiped behind our back, cheated, lied, etc, we wonder what was the universe thinking by bringing such a person into our life. There probably won’t ever be an answer to that question. But, we have to realize that wisdom does not come from passivity. It comes from experiencing things. So…. if we don’t experience the good with the bad, we don’t gain the wisdom to know the difference! After removing a “wrong” person from our life, we have learned to appreciate that time is fleeting and should not be wasted on people who don’t deserve it. Though it’s not always easy, we DO have the ability and the power to cut people out of our lives who shouldn’t be there. Overall, our lives should be spent with the people who really count, with the things we’re passionate about, and on living each day to the best of our ability. #susankorwin
