Susan’s Sound Advice #937

Believe what you KNOW and not what you SEE. Lately, I heard of too many people being scammed by people they trusted. If someone seems too good to be true, it is possible they are. You really need to look behind the “smoke and mirrors” and listen to that voice inside that says “take it slow and do your due diligence”. Most of us are usually good at sniffing out frauds and phonies, but even a pro can be led down the wrong path by a true narcissist. These people exaggerate everything, and that is why they adore the internet. They can present themselves as anything they want with photos to match. They can say they are a bigwig, but with no proof that this is true. The tragedy is that so many people look for self-confidence and self-respect everywhere except within themselves, and so they fail in their search. Narcissists gain their power through deceit. Be smart! #susankorwin
