Susan’s Sound Advice #96

I recently heard of an interesting group exercise. People sat in a circle and each participant was asked to write down his/her greatest trouble or stresser on a piece of paper, fold it and then put it into the center of the circle. After everyone completed their writing, they were asked to pick a folded paper out of the pile. They then had the option of keeping the “trouble” selected from the pile (which was someone else’s) or taking their own trouble back. As it turned out, each person decided to keep their own trouble! Just goes to show. . if you think you have it bad, someone else has it much worse.
