Susan’s Sound Advice #981

I have written this before, but this needs to be addressed over and over until people get the message! The experience of being bullied, whether it is verbal, physical, cyber-related, or just being excluded from a group, is a universal epidemic. Bullying is abuse, and abuse of another person is selfish, narcissistic and sadistic. The emotional and physical well-being of a bully’s victim is less important than their thrill of gaining dominance and the attention they receive from others. People who are bullied do not deserve to feel unsafe in a world where they should feel safe. It is very sad that people who lack control in their own lives feel that they have to demean others to gain the control they sorely lack. Do NOT let anyone steal your power. A bully gets their energy from your lost power. Walk tall and know that you are worthy, you are strong, and no one has the right to belittle you! And for those of you who are witness to this bullying…. . don’t give them the attention they so desperately want. #susankorwin
